- For those opting for the eight-session course, you can have one excused absence (with prior notice), but we kindly ask that you keep it to just that.
- Our sessions are held online through BigBlueButton, and we’ll send you the class link so you can join easily!
- Before each session, make sure your internet connection is stable and strong, as we will need you to use your webcam during our time together.
- Just a heads up: private class sessions will be recorded, and you’ll have access to these recordings for ten days after the session.
- Sessions are scheduled back-to-back, so please plan to finish on time to keep everything running smoothly for the next person.
- Sometimes things happen, and your session might start a little late due to technical issues.

In this course, podcasts aren’t just for listening—they’re your ticket to sharpening critical thinking, building an advanced vocabulary, and mastering challenging discussions. Each episode is a chance to dive deep into the hidden layers of language and ideas.
Course Topics:
- Advanced comprehension through diverse podcasts (think tech, culture, psychology, and more)
- Actively learning a wide range of vocabulary across different fields
- Developing critical thinking by analyzing content, biases, arguments, storytelling, and audience impact
- Engaging in class discussions and tackling tough questions (Agree or disagree? Why? What’s the solution?)
- Boosting speaking skills (expressing opinions and summarizing) and listening skills
- Getting feedback on pronunciation, grammar, vocabulary, and how accurate and appropriate your language is
How It Works:
Before each session, we’ll share a fairly long podcast (at least 2 hours) with participants.
You’ll listen to the podcast, jot down key points, and come ready for a lively session packed with questions about the content.
In class, it’s all about participation, interaction, and getting personalized feedback to help you grow.

The only resources required to participate in this course are the Cambridge IELTS books and a notebook.
